I know tech is the last field you want to be in, so you might hate the fact that I am sitting here writing this as a Data Science major. I know. Take a second. It actually is pretty great! You still aren’t a math genius, but surprisingly, we learn to prefer it.

That camp that you were thinking of signing up for is actually the greatest thing you’ll decide to do. It even led you to get your first internship, first work TRIP, first remote work experience… and so much more. Things seem so out of reach right now, like everything is just outside your intellectual level, but truly, it isn’t. You will get to learn and create and grow in a field that works for YOU, and you don’t have to give up your passions in order to pursue a stable future.

Tech isn’t just a cut and dry job that you think you’ll hate, it’s actually the door to pursue all those passion projects and unfinished hobbies at a greater level. With KWK, we got to tour Apple’s headquarters and work from Google’s office in Atlanta where you got to teach other teenagers how to code! Our first internship is one where we get to help create content for the company!

I don’t know how it worked out so perfectly either.

So, thank you for hitting apply. It was the best career move you ever made.
