I first found out about KWK in 2021...actually I cannot take credit from where it's due, my older sister came across KWK on Tiktok and she has always been my personal cheerleader and knew that I was curious about pursuing tech. It really goes to show the power of social media because I remember being so excited by the prospect of joining the KWK community only from watching a wholesome video of scholars with Karlie somewhere in the states and this was just the beginning. The summer camp was my first honest introduction to a girls STEM society and it was everything I could have wished for. I was surrounded by so many enthusiastic girls from all corners of the globe and it was truly the beginning of my journey into STEM.

Fast forward, a whopping 4 years, 3 summers spent with KWK and my last day of high school just last week?! I hope to study Electrical engineering in the coming September in the city I am proud to call my home, London. The trajectory of my stem journey did shift from CS to engineering in the last year but I am very happy with my decision and although the next few years holds a lot of uncertainty and seems overwhelming, a part of me is really excited!
