Letter to My Future Self

Dear Gia Linh of 2025,

Today is April 14, the Monday post spring break. When filling out the form, I realized one thing, that I have come so far… It’s easy to ignore that what you once prayed for has become reality, that was what I neglected to hear, not until I saw a reflection of myself in there.

Nevertheless, as I took a step to understand myself today, I am grateful for the people and community that I chose to be surrounded with; that I advocated for myself, and navigated a pathway for my own life. From the KWK community, honestly, I got inspired and even had in mind a big girl dream to create such an impact in the community and influence the next gen of femmes globally.

My participation at KWK has become significant, a moral support for times when I struggled in this male-dominated field, when I also got reminded that it’s so important to have a community for all.

I also hope to continue writing my story this following summer with a renewed 2-week experience with new friends and the journey of creating my reputation!

Keep going!
