I never believed I would love coding as much as I do now. When I first applied to KWK at 13, I thought it was going to be a boring summer camp, but I keep returning every year. And this year I will participate in my first CAB program as an IA :) I've valued the KWK community and the beneficial connections I've made with peers, IAs, and instructors who have supported not only my coding journey, but my academic/professional one too. And with the amazing coding skills I've picked up from KWK, I've continued to expand my learning and help others in my community understand some basics of coding as well.

Since my first KWK program, I've learned to be confident in my coding skills and have grown to understand that I may not grasp everything at once. Also, as I close my high school journey and explore college options I plan to further my knowledge in code by minoring in comp-sci or another tech field. Now, I'm much more open to the idea of having a tech job or even just practicing my code for fun.
